Papers involving research at NUTES are presented in Europe and Brazil

During this week, from September 21st until 25th, three research papers that involve researches of the Center for Strategic Technologies in Health were presented at conferences in Europe and Brazil. The researcher Pablo Antonino, from the Fraunhofer-IESE institute from Germany, and the researcher Alejandra Ruiz, from the Tecnalia institute from Spain, did presentations at the SAFECOMP conference, in Delft, Netherlands, which is considered the most important forum on safety critical systems development.

Pablo Antonino presented the work intitled “The Safety Requiments Decomposition Patterns”. Alejandra Ruiz presented the work “Safety Case Driven Development of Medical Devices”.

In Brazil, the presentation was made by Prof.  Dsc. Paulo Barbosa, coordinator of the NUTES software engineering lab. The researcher presented the work “RAwTIM: a Tool for Information Traceability in Risk Analysis Processes” at CBSOFT – Brazilian Congress on Software, Theory and Practice – Tools Section. CBSOFT is considered the biggest event in Latin America on the software engineering topic.

Were also involved as co-authors of the papers, professors Fabio Leite and Edmar Candeia, the students from the Master in Health Technologies Raphael Mendonça and Yang Medeiros, and the students of the computer science graduation course from UEPB Luana Sousa and Melquisedec Andrade.
