NUTES and UFCG will hold a workshop with researchers

The Laboratory of Image and Signal Processing of the Center for Strategic Technologies in Health – NUTES of UEPB and the Departments of Computer Systems and Electrical Engineering of UFCG will perform in the next Friday,23, a workshop with researchers of images and signs processing area, medical devices and other fields who search technologies applied to health. The workshop will be held in the NUTES training room, from 2pm.

Prof. Dr. Robson Pequeno coordinates the Laboratory of Image and Signal Processing.

At the meeting, students initially will present the works that are being developed to then begin a round of talks with the aim of integrating the researches. “It will be an important time for everyone to know what is being researched to occur an exchange between researchers. Collaborative research will present even more effective results, “commented the Professor Robson Pequeno, coordinator of the Laboratory of Image and Signs Processing.

In addition to Robson Pesqueno also will attend in the workshop the following NUTES research professors: Misael Morais, coordinator of the Center for Strategic Technologies in Health, Paulo Barbosa, Kátia Galdino, Djalma Carvalho, Nadja Oliveira, Frederico Bublitz and Daniel Scherer.

From UFCG, will be present the researchers teachers: Herman Gomes Martins, Eanes Torres, Carlos Wilson and Joseana Fechine from the Department of Computer Systems, Edmar Candeia Gurjão and Luciana Ribeiro Veloso, from the Department of Electrical Engineering.
