Accreditation in the CATI allows partnerships between companies and NUTES

The Accreditation to the Committee of the Information Technology Area – CATI of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Information (MCTI) enables the NUTES to performing partnerships with companies who are or who want to have benefits from tax incentives of the Informatics Law. The projects include the areas of education, research, development and innovation in technologies.

According to Informatics Law to take advantage of tax incentives the development of companies or production of computer goods and services and automation must invest annually in research and development in information technology to be held in the country at least 2.3% of gross revenues should be applied through agreements with research centers or institutes, or Brazilian educational entities, official or recognized, accredited by the committee.

The accreditation, held in early June, was another important achievement for the NUTES, which is consolidated as a reference center for research that can meet existing demands in the areas of computer science and technologies related to health.
